About
Dr. Sheroze Ullah Khan is a psychiatrist and is Innovation Lead at Diip. He leads the development of new services and works on improving the clinical workflows and systems that support care across the clinic. His clinical background informs this work, keeping it grounded in what patients and clinicians actually need.
His approach follows the biopsychosocial model. He understands mental health difficulties as shaped by biological, psychological, and social factors, and he treats these as connected, not separate. He is also neurodiversity-informed, recognising that differences in how people think, learn, and experience the world are not always best understood as deficits, while accepting that a diagnosis can help people access the right support, treatment, and reasonable adjustments at school or work.
Dr. Sheroze’s practice is holistic and inclusive. He pays attention to how culture, gender, background, and life circumstances shape a person’s experience of distress and what kind of help will work for them. His clinical experience covers the full range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety, and the difficulties of childhood and adolescence.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Sheroze’s clinical work centres on mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS). Neurodiversity informs his thinking across all of these.Beyond clinical practice, he works at the intersection of technology, artificial intelligence, and mental healthcare. He looks at how digital tools can improve access, support clinical workflows, and strengthen the patient experience, with safety, privacy, and evidence at the centre.
